Ingredients (serves 4-5):
- 2 T. butter
- 4 T. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly bround black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red chile flakes
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 lb. fresh fettucine (you can use dry pasta without a problem)
- 3/4 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 T. minced parsley
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add the olive oil, salt, pepper, chile flakes, and garlic, cook stirring, until the garlic in translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Add the wine and cook another 3-4 minutes.
Cook pasta in boiling water until tender, time depending on whether you use fresh or dry pasta.
Drain the pasta, and return to the pot, adding the crab and butter sauce, Toss to coat the pasta, Garnish with parsley, and serve hot (heat your pasta plates in the oven on low heat so that your pasta does not get cold before serving.
